Yesterday, it was very hot outside and I did not feel like dealing with the heat (bad mom, I know), so I pulled play dough out. The kids had a blast. However, Layna did learn that she does not like the way play dough tastes. She had it caked...and I mean caked...to the roof of her mouth. She was foaming at the mouth and it was orange foam! Quite funny, I must say, and thank goodness play dough is nontoxic! I am including a few photos from our play dough time.
Today, I pulled coloring out for the kids. I must say that Brayden has ABSOLUTELY NO INTEREST in coloring. I guess maybe it's just the boy in him. Layna is more interested in tasting the crayons and markers than actually coloring. I can't wait for her to grow out of tasting everything!
We are getting ready for another garage sale this weekend. We are hoping to have more traffic because it is the village sponsored weekend for garage sales. So, there will be lots of people out looking for garage sales!

Fantastic News on the EKG! It's raining here and I am totally about to pull out the play dough too. Sophia loves to color and write, problem is she usually writes all over herself =)
I'm glad that everything is normal. Phew, big sigh of relief! Your play dough penguins are adorable. We have been playing with moon sand around here because Abby got it for her birthday.
