North Aurora Days

This past weekend was North Aurora Days which for those of you who don't know is a weekend filled with festivals, parades, activities and so forth in the town we live in. We hosted another garage sale during the weekend and attended the Lights and Sirens Parade. Here are two photo collages from the weekend. One is from the parade and the other is the kids keeping cool during the garage sale with a hose and a large bucket of water.

(I want to point out the photo on the left hand side, second from the bottom. Note the size of the vehicle in comparison to the stop sign and he people in the picture. It was a little mini fire truck...too cute!)

Brayden was sound asleep right before the parade...out like a light. I was nice and woke him before all of the sirens started. Layna really had no interest in the parade. Our neightbors brought a small container of ice that Layna played with pretty much the entire time! Neither of our children seemed phased with the loudness of the sirens. Brayden did seem to really enjoy the parade...and the candy that was thrown.

I love when they throw candy at parades. That's fun.

I love the collages. Beautiful - and North Aurora Days sound like fun. The name reminds me of Wayne's World - didn't they live in Aurora?? Maybe I'm wrong - if I am I'm going to feel like an idiot...

Peace and Hugs,
Becca
