We have been home for just about two weeks....and new pics!

Tomorrow will mark two weeks home, and what a busy two weeks it has been. As mentioned in my previous post, Layna has been sick. We made it through the night fever free, so I can safely say the fever is gone. However, the red spots are not. The doctor said it could take the rash 4-5 days to go away, so we just wait it out.

Anyway, the past two weeks have been wonderful, but busy. It has been nice to be at home with the kiddos today by myself. Matt went back to work today, and let's just say, he was ready. He won't admit it, but he needs order and structure in his life despite his making fun of me for being organized and anal retentive.

Brayden is doing well still. He likes to play with his sister and talk to her. The only problem so far is how "rough" he is when he plays with her. He just doesn't understand that he can't be so rough. In time, he will get it and she will not be so little. Otherwise, he is a GREAT big brother. I LOVE sitting and watching the two of them interact. It brings tears to my eyes. I am so glad they are so close in age.

Last but not are some more photos...

Layna enjoying some Gerber took her some time to actually try to eat them. Now, she LOVES them!

Brayden and his trains...oh, how he loves them. It reminds me of my best friend Megan's son when he was little. All the endless hours of entertainment!

Just a cute photo of Brayden in the tub. Both of our kiddos LOVE taking baths!!!

I love the way Layna is looking at her bother in this photo!

Layna LOVES playing with the activity cube she got from Grandma and Grandpa Goldstein for Christmas. Her brother often enjoys it just as much. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa!

More bath time fun!

Layna's first visit to the doctor...when she wasn't sick!!! Mom, Dad, Brayden and Grandma Thompson all went with Layna for support. Only one shot was necessary though. However, from the doctor's office, we were off to the hospital for routine blood tests. Layna was NOT a happy camper after that...I felt so bad for her! The good news, all the tests were fine.

Lastly, just some more random fun photos hanging out at home as a family. Brayden LOVES to use all of Layna's "baby" toys...i.e. exersaucer, swing, walker, play mat. It's funny to watch him revisit all of his old things.
