Happy New Year!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year's celebration and are heading into a fantastic 2008!!! Things are settling down here at the Goldstein household, and we are all ready to get into a normal daily routine.

Unfortunately, Layna rang in the new year with a fever. She spiked a fever overnight this past Thursday night. So, Friday Matt took her to the doctor. One of her ears was ever so slightly red, so the doctor prescribed her an antibiotic. Well, today is Tuesday and the fever FINALLY broke. She has been fever free all day...let's just hope we make it through the night without a fever. Yes, she is fever free...but now she is covered in red spots!!! We aren't exactly sure of the cause, but suspect that it is either the antibiotic (which we have stopped) or simply another symptom of whatever virus she has running through her body. If need be, we will be visiting the doctor again tomorrow.

I hope to get some more photos uploaded soon! We have been so busy with the holidays, kids being sick and just getting used to our new family of four!

I cannot express enough how thankful I am of how supportive all of you (our friends and family) have been through both of our adoptions. We are very blessed to have such a wonderful family...it brings tears to my eyes every time I think about how blessed we truly are. What an amazing year 2008 is going to be for us.

Pictures are coming soon...I promise!
