Layna Update
Well, after another VERY LOOOOOOONG night with our sick children, Layna started having trouble breathing, sounded very hoarse and spiked a fever of 102.3. We took her back to the doctor this morning...thankfully they are open on Saturdays...and she has croop (sp?). The poor thing sounds miserable! She doesn't want to eat...which is NOT like her at all. The docctor prescribed her a steroid and antibiotic. So, now hopefully in a day or two both kiddos will be on the way to healthy. Then, maybe mommy and daddy can get some sleep...

I hate to hear your children are sick. I'm the one whose daughter is named Malaena. We thought about the nickname "Laena", "Laeni" or "Laen". Well, when we saw her, we called her Malae a lot. We hope people will call her Malena-Sloan. I'm from the south and love that. Chat soon, Cheri
