What an AMAZING extended weekend we had!!! When we were in the process of adopting Brayden from Guatemala we met two amazing families on our 2nd visit trip! We met Sarah, Joe and their son Andrew and David and his son Joshua. We all clicked instantly and have kept in touch ever since. On Brayden's pick up trip, David was visiting his son Joshua, so we met up again. We have been to Sarah and Joe's house once since bringing Brayden home as well. Of course our families look a little different today. Sarah and Joe now have a biological daughter named Alayna and we, of course, have our Malayna. The girls are just days apart!
We were able to coordinate our schedules so that all three of our families could get together. Sarah, Joe and their family drove here and David and Joshua flew here!!! We were all back together again on Saturday afternoon!!! This past weekend was also the two year anniversary of meeting in Guatemala!
Of course we had cameras snapping pictures right and left. We got some amazing pictures and had an amazing time!!! We were all amazed at how well the boys got along and enjoyed each other's company.
On Sunday, we also included my friend Kim and her family in the GUATEMALAN REUNION. Kim and Lou also adopted their son from Guatemala. All four boys are within 4 months of each other in age...ALL TWO-YEAR-OLDS!!!
