A few things...

Well, I have a few things to post about, so I will do so in bullet format...

*A VERY dear friend of mine is going through a very tough time right now. To respect her privacy, I do not want to go into details here. I do want to ask all of you to keep her in your prayers as she copes in this difficult time.

*I am back from AZ and attended my uncle's memorial service. It was a very difficult day for many. Please continue to keep his family in your prayers as they continue to grieve the losses of a son/brother and husband/spouse.

*During my uncle's memorial service, Layna took her first army crawl steps in the crying room!!! Now, she is getting around slightly faster...before I know it, I will be chasing after her!!!

*I FINALLY was able to get Layna's hair to stay in a clippy!!! See pictures below...

*On Sunday, January 20th Dateline NBC will be airing a special on Guatemalan Adoption. While, I do agree that adoptions in Guatemala need reform, please remember that there are two sides to every story. I hope that this special balances both sides of the story.

Enjoy the photos...

Photos from the plane ride to AZ...thanks for all of your help Grandma and Grandpa!!!

Layna's hair up in a clippy!!! It will FINALLY stay in...I am soooo excited!!!

Your blog is looking great--I like the changes! Anyway, the kids look very happy--kudos to you for taking both on the plane! And Layna's hair looks great--Ode to Girls! Can't wait to see you all soon.

I came across your blog and want to say 2 things. I think your children are absolutely ADORABLE. I just finished reading your full blog. Too cute!!! Also, your daughter and I share the same name, but spelled different. How fun! If you don't mind, I'd like to add you to my blog. My husband and I are in the process of domestic adoption and even tho you did int'l it gives me hope that our baby will be home one day soon. Thanks!
