Well, supposedly the Embassy issues the "appointment date" 24-48 hours after they receive the 2nd DNA results. Well...it is 3:22 on Thursday. The Embassy received our results at 3:55 on Tuesday. So, do the math...they have about a half an hour to send me the much desired e-mail! We are sooooooo close...come on Embassy...push send! My poor computer's refresh button is going to break soon!
There are a variety of reasons why we may not receive the e-mail today. They could have my e-mail address incorrect, there could be something wrong with our file, they could be backed up, etc...etc...etc... If we don't get the e-mail today, our NY attorney will e-mail the Embassy and try to figure out what is going on.
Praying to get that e-mail soon...as it is also almost the end of the business day for the Embassy as well.
BTW...The Embassy does not issue the appointments on Fridays, so if we do not hear today we may have to wait until Monday....ugh!!! Good thing it is a scrapbooking getaway weekend...that will help keep me distracted.

I am praying for you! Let you be the FIRST e-mail out tomorrow morning! Let you you have an appointment on the 17th so you can be home by CHRISTMAS! You have been good all year, right!? You deserve this!

Oh how frustrating! I hope you get it first thing Monday. It's good that you have something to keep you busy this weekend.
