We are back from visiting Malayna!

We are back from our trip to Guatemala to visit our beautiful daughter. She is just amazing and wonderful. She was very smiley, happy and lovable.

Brayden was extremely jealous and had a difficult time adjusting, but we will get through that when she comes home. I think it will be slightly easier on him when we are all at home as opposed to being cooped up in a hotel room.

We met with our Guatemalan attorney and she told us that we would be getting submitted into PGN today (Sept. 4). I know this doesn't mean a whole lot to many of you, but it is the next step. It is also the most unpredictable step. We are hoping for a smooth ride in PGN. The average is about 2-3 months. When we get out of PGN...we have been approved on the Guatemalan side for this adoption. Then there will be a few more steps to complete...but nothing lengthy. Once we are out of PGN...we can expect Malayna to be home in about a month to a month and a half.
