Well, it seems that the section of the U.S. Embassy in Guatemala that issues PAs is in fact closed due to training. So, we cannot expect to hear about our PA this week...unless they decide to work on Friday and Saturday. Sometimes there are PAs issued on Fridays and Saturdays and sometimes there are not. I do know that the training is only through Thursday this week. So, if we don't hear anything Friday or Saturday....I am praying to hear something EARLY next week. I will be e-mailing the Embassy first thing on Monday to ask the status of our case. It is nice that we, as adoptive parents, are allowed to e-mail the Embassy ourselves to learn about our case.
Now if only Brayden's passport would arrive in the mail...we would be all set for our trip Wednesday the 29th. It was mailed to us from the passport office (in some other state) on Friday the 17th. So, it literally should be here any day now. But, today was not the day. If it doesn't come...then, Brayden will not be joining us.
