Readoption Day

Yesterday, August 8, 2007, was Brayden's readoption day in Illinois. It was a great day and everything went smoothly. Now, we just wait for the attorneys and court system to finalize everything. Then, we will officially be DONE with all paperwork for Brayden.

I was so excited to share photos of this special day, but I am sick to my stomach about something else that happened yesterday. We were on our way home, and I went to get the camera to review the pictures taken throughout the day. I was horrified to discover that the camera was missing. We looked all over the car, in every nook and cranny of the stroller, emptied the entire contents of the diaper bag and checked my purse. NOTHING. So, we turned around and went back to the courthouse to check...NOTHING. We went back to the parking garage...NOTHING. Matt is going to call the courthouse today per their recommendation to check and see if the camera turned up.

I honestly don't care that the camera is missing, it's replacable...I am sad and frustrated about losing the pictures taken to document a momentous day in our family's life. I pray that somehow the courthouse has the camera.

I hope your camera is found. I wasn't sure what the readoption day was all about, so thank you for explaining. :-)
