New to Blogging

I had some technical difficulties with my previous blog...so, here is the new site.

I am very new to this and trying to get the hang of it. I am looking forward to creating a great space for people to come and visit to see what is going on in the Goldstein household. We are certainly busy having Brayden home and getting ready for Malayna to come home.

We have been working on Malayna's nursery to help pass the time as we wait to go visit her in Guatemala. I will post photos when the project is complete. We are waiting for the U.S. Embassyin Guatemala to issue VISA preapproval. Once the preapproval is issued, we will be allowed to go and visit. We anticipate the visit to take place between late August and early September.

Brayden is certainly growing and changing every day. He has been experimenting with using the potty with some success. He is also experimenting with the power of words. We are hearing "NO" very often! More teeth are finally deciding to come in, but all at the same time. He has about five teeth coming in right now which may have something to do with the attitude that he is displaying lately. But at the end of the day, his smile melts our hearts and we are so grateful to have him in our lives. I look forward to posting his growth and milestones for everyone to read about.

As for Matt and I, we are hanging in there. Matt recently accepted a promotion to Sales Manager with Washington Mutual. He is very happy with the promotion. I am still working part-time for Gingercare as a preschool teacher, but at the end of the summer I will officially be a SAHM. I am looking forward to having extra time to dedicate to my children.
